Real Madrid's winger Issues Regret to Real Madrid Devotees
The attacker has registered 5 finishes in 10 Spanish league matches during the current campaign.
Los Merengues forward Vinicius Jr has apologised to supporters for his reaction when replaced in the recent intense match against Barcelona victory.
The Brazilian was replaced in the 72nd minute and expressed his annoyance by heading directly off the pitch.
Vinicius later returned to the dugout and, following his team's narrow triumph, attempted to approach Barça's Lamine Yamal during unsavoury after the game incidents.
"This day I want to express regret to all the Madridistas for my behavior when I was substituted in the Clasico," the player posted on his account.
"Just as I have said in person during today's training, I wish to apologise again to my team-mates, the organization, and the leadership.
"At times passion overcomes me because I always want to triumph and support my team. My determined nature comes from the affection I feel for this team and everything it stands for."
The player joined Real from his former club in the year 2018 for £38.7m and has notched triple figures in more than 300 games.
But his future in the Madrid is uncertain with reports in recent months stating that Los Blancos would contemplate allowing the player depart if they got a suitable offer.
When the winger was taken off on that day, TV coverage from broadcaster Dazn captured him stating: "Always me! I'm departing the side! It's better if I leave, I'm going."
In his new statement on social media, Vinicius said: "I commit to keep striving at all times for the benefit of the club, as I have performed since the initial arrival."
